For those of you who didn't know yet, Microsoft's latest version of its web browser, Internet Explorer 8, was officially released today. Anyone who wants to can now visit their website to download it, as automatic installation via Windows Update probably won't be available for a while yet.

I went and downloaded it and took it for a spin this morning, and here are some of my own first impressions I've had about the new browser. Keep in mind, this isn't meant to be a full-on review, as I just wanted to share my own experiences (and any annoyances) I had having used the browser for a few hours now.
